Our research on on-chip DC/DC converter presented at ASP-DAC University Design Contest.

Kikuta of Kyoto University has presented our work on on-chip switched-capacitor DC/DC converter at the ASP-DAC’2025 University Design Contest. We have proposed a recovery mechanism for the existing hysterisis control to cope up with sudden large current spikes at the load. We also proposed a supply-voltage insenstive low-power comparator to reduce the power consumption and achiever high bandwidth. This work will serve as a foundation for our future endeavors to realize tiny verstatile and energy-efficient DC/DC converters for sub-nm process.
